This 29 year old man had just graduated from dental school and moved to the greater Charlotte area. He wanted to start his new job with a new look; one that he had been contemplating for many years. After asking around for advice from his professional comrades concerning who would be the best surgeon to see he was told overwhelmingly to see Dr. Freeman, the areas facial plastic specialist. After a couple of visits to his office and much discussion about his concerns a list of options and procedures were decided upon. A North Carolina otoplasty (surgery to change the shape of the ear) was near the top of the list. This was done with a small incision behind the ear and got rid of the protruding look his ears had since he was a kid. He also did not like his boyish looks and wanted to look different in this regard. To help him with this goal Dr. Freeman did a North Carolina rhinoplasty that he developed known as a "caudle advancement technique". He has yet to publish this new approach to rhinoplasty which allows him to lengthen a nose that is over rotated or too short. In this case this was due to genetics; in most cases Dr. Freeman uses this approach to help patients that need a North Carolina revision rhinoplasty. In addition facial implants were used to accent his cheeks and square off his jaw line. All together these procedures were just what this young doctor ordered, he has sent many of his patient's since!
