This 56 year old woman travelled from South Carolina upon the advice of friends after being disenchanted with other plastic surgeons she had seen who did not specialize in facial plastic surgery. A constant mantra heard by Dr. Freeman from his patients is they want a refreshed youthful look that still looks like them but without looking like they were pulled. She found what she was looking for at Dr. Freeman's facial plastic surgery office in North Carolina. After hearing her concerns and post operative expectations he advised her she needed a face lift NC style known as a deep plane face lift. This is different than a deep plane minituck in that patients who have the face lift have an additional incision under the chin so that Dr. Freeman can perform open liposculpture of the neck and tighten the muscles of the neck in the middle of the neck. She also was a candidate for a chin implant which is recommended in patients to improve facial balance and provide additional support for the neck over time. At the same time she had a brow lift NC style know as an endoscopic lateral brow lift which allows for the lift to be done with minimal incisions and tailor made to fit the patient. Finally a lower lid blepharoplasty NC style was done which in Dr. Freeman's office is known as a "SOOF lift blepharoplasty". A procedure he invented and has taught all over the US and Europe which allows him to improve the appearance of the lower lid and lift the mid face at the same time via an incision hidden within the eyelid. She was very happy she decided to drive to Charlotte, NC for her surgery.
