This 56 year old woman felt twenty years younger and did not like what the mirror was throwing back at her! She was determined to find the best surgeon to accomplish her goals. Having a home outside of Charlotte she had to do her homework and worked through the Internet but had also heard of a facial plastic specialist in Charlotte by word of mouth and ended up visiting Dr. Freeman's office. By what she had heard from her friends, seen on the Internet and learned during her visit she knew that she had found the right facial cosmetic surgery specialist in Charlotte, NC. She elected to proceed with a face lift in NC known as a deep plane minituck. This gave her the improvement in the mid face, jowl and neck that she was after without the pulled look that she had seen in a friend who had visited a plastic surgeon not familiar with deep plane surgery. She also had a blepharoplasty NC style which in Dr. Freeman’s office consists of a "SOOF lift blepharoplasty" which is an approach to lower lid eyelid surgery in NC that he invented and originally published. At the same time she had an upper lid blepharoplasty and a lip augmentation. Her lip augmentation was accomplished by implanting Alloderm into her lips via tiny hidden incisions. She was "ecstatic with the results" and finally felt like the woman looking back at her in the mirror was the one that she expected to see!
