This 45 year old female flew in from Chicago after being convinced that Dr. Freeman's specialty practice and years of experience in facial plastic surgery would help her obtain the results she desired. A lower lid blepharoplasty in particular involves a SOOF (an acronym for sub-orbicularis oculi fat) lift which is a technique originally published by Dr. Freeman and one which allows him to not only improve the appearance of the lower eyelid but also lift the mid face. Most patients return to work within several days. A SignatureLift is a great procedure in the right patient but isn't a substitute for a deep plane face lift should that be needed.
