This 60 year old female patient came to Dr. Freeman’s facial plastic surgery office in Charlotte, NC wishing to look refreshed without that pulled look she had seen in from one of her acquaintances. Fortunately she heard of Dr. Freeman from her hair dresser and was immediately impressed with the photographs of his patients both on the Internet and in the office. She was not sure if she needed her face lift, brow lift or eyelid surgery in NC to achieve her desired results which were to look better without that operated on look. After her consultation Dr. Freeman decided she would obtain her wished upon end result with a face lift and a brow lift. In her case her face lift involved a minituck. A minituck is similar to face lift in NC when performed by Dr. Freeman in that they both involve a deep plane approach which allows for a natural look for the mid face, jowl and neck area. Most plastic surgeons in Charlotte and throughout the Southeast do not do deep plane face lift surgery which gives a more natural end result for the patient but does require a facial plastic surgeon with this particular skill. A North Carolina face lift patient would have more surgery in the neck area than this patient needed. Her brow lift in NC was done with the aid of an endoscope which allows for small incisions and better more natural results. In her case this involved doing a lateral brow lift. Patients who have a brow lift in NC by Dr. Freeman will either have a full brow lift, a 3/4 brow lift or a lateral brow lift depending on their individual needs. She was very happy with her results and has sent many of her friends!
